The NAB was founded in 2013 by Lucy Warren-Whitman, who is also the Artistic Director. The NAB is the resident ballet company in the Cabot Theater in Beverly, Mass., and typically stages four or five programs each season, including an annual staging of Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcracker. Along with original works by Warren-Whitman, the NAB has commissioned novel works, such as Firebird by Lorraine Chapman and Glossarium by Margaret Wiss.

She also established the North Atlantic Dance Theatre, which specializes in pre-professional dance training.
