NLDS Tickets
Swing for the fences by purchasing your National League Division Series tickets. Originally implemented for one year during the 1981 Major League Baseball (MLB) season due to midseason strike is the division series play. Then in 1994, officials at the MLB decided to start division series play because there were now three divisions per league. There are two leagues in MLB, the American League (AL) and the National League (NL). Going into the MLB Postseason, both leagues have the same bracket and will play the same number of games. Their end goal is to end up at the MLB World Series to be crowned the national champion. While playing at an NL ballpark, like Busch Stadium in St. Louis, the pitcher is required to be featured in the batting order. American League teams do not have such a restriction. Following the MLB Wildcard Games is the National League Division Series (NLDS). There are four teams that will play out of a possible 15. The two winners of the NLDS round move on to play each other in the National League Championship Series (NLCS). When playing for the NLDS pennant, baseball teams play a minimum of three games or best out of five. Be sure to buy your National League Division Series tickets from TicketSmarter.
The NLDS is held annually and is used to determine the overall National League winner. The Atlanta Braves holds the current record for the most number of appearances at 15, though they have only won six of those games. The St. Louis Cardinals has 14 appearances and won the 2019 NLDS. All teams in the National League had played at least once with the Pittsburgh Pirates as the only team who has yet to win the NLDS pennant. All games are played at the home stadiums of each team.
