His approach is unique in that he used an upright piano, grand piano, Rhodes piano and even drum machines. Frahm's style is a mixture of electronic and classical music.
He has recorded with many other artists including Peter Broderick, Davide Rossi, Anne Müller, Ólafur Arnalds, F. S. Blumm, Frederic Gmeiner and Sebastian Singwald. His other solo releases include 'Streichelfisch' (2005), 'Electric Piano' (2008), 'Screws' (2012), 'Spaces' (2013), 'Solo' (2015) and 'All Melody', which peaked at number two on Billboard's Classical Albums Chart in 2018. Frahm uses an eclectic range of equipment in his recordings and live performances. He can have in excess of 20 pieces of vintage musical equipment during a live show.
