The success of the orchestra’s first concert at the Britton Recital Hall was immediate, resulting in exponential growth.  Within the first three years of its establishment, the orchestra established itself as one of the nation’s leading organizations for Arab music. Due to this reputation, the orchestra established its home base at the Detroit Music Hall Center for the Performing Arts and received the Knight Foundation Grant in 2013. 

What we know as the National Arab Orchestra today made its national debut in 2014 at the Woodruff Arts Center. Over the years, the orchestra has collaborated with numerous other musical organizations including the Michigan Philharmonic, the Toledo Symphony Orchestra, and many others. The National Arab Orchestra has made it its mission to preserve and integrate Arab culture through unique musical experiences. With various education and performance outreaches, the orchestra brings traditions of the Arab world to those who would otherwise not experience the culture.
