Bergman was raised in Barrington, Illinois, a Chicago suburb. After high school, she attended the Berklee College of Music in Boston, Mass. After college, she moved to New York and became a member of her brother Elliot’s ban Nomo. She was a background singer on the Nomo single “Upside Down” in 2011.
