Born in 1996 in San Cristobal, Tachira, Medina originally pursued a career in engineering. He studied systems engineering at Santiago Marino University before deciding to take a turn toward comedy.
Medina initially developed an interest in stand up comedy after encountering the work of Benjamin Rausseo, who would prove a formative influence on his later style. Medina first gained recognition through his comedy blog Cacareando, which caught the eye of comedian Juan Revell. Revell hired Medina as the head screenwriter for the El Chiguire Bipolar news parody series.
In the late 2010s Medina released his first stand up comedy special Como en Casa. He would break through to mainstream success, however, with his later special Macho Beta. Macho Beta went viral online and made Medina a household name in Venezuela. He became known for his confessional style that draws heavily on his life’s misadventures.
