Watch all the hard-hitting action with Minnesota Roller Derby tickets. Minnesota Roller Derby is a skater-owned, flat-track franchise based in St. Paul, Minn. It was started in 2004 as Minnesota RollerGirls and is a founding member of the Women's Flat Track Roller Derby Association (WFTDA). The name was changed in 2019 to Minnesota Roller Derby to reflect a more gender-expansive vision. As a skater-owned team, all members are volunteers who skate, officiate and help to run the business. This sometimes includes assisting with recreational programming for adults and juniors.

Minnesota Roller Derby is represented in the WFTDA by the Minnesota All-Stars. The team competes internationally and has appeared at the International Championships several times. The B team is called the Minnesota Nice. Each team rosters 20 league skaters and home matches for both squads are played at the Roy Wilkins Auditorium. The season spans October to March with All-Star season kicking off after the final home game. All-Star playoffs are typically played in September. Through volunteering and fundraising, Minnesota Roller Derby has given back more than $80,000 to the community through local charities.
