Together they formed Cotton Jones Basket Ride, where they were able to establish what would become one of Nau’s most familiar sounds: a style-blending of psych-folk. They shortened the band name to Cotton Jones after they released a self-entitled EP. As Cotton Jones, they released numerous studio albums and an EP.
