Born in Alberta in 1961, Fox’s career in acting began when he was only 15 years old. At 15 he starred in the Canadian sitcom Leo and Me, then at 18 moved to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career full-time. Fox got his big break when he was cast as Alex P. Keaton in Family Ties, which was a runaway success and ran for seven seasons. He would win three Emmy Awards for his performance.
