Starting as a side project of the Weiss brothers MeWithoutYou tickets have become highly sought after for their unique thematic sounds. The band that would become MeWithoutYou commonly stylized as mewithoutYou was an idea of Aaron Weiss (lead vocals, guitar, accordion) and Michael Weiss (guitar, keyboards, vocal) along with former guitarist Christopher Kleinberg. Seeking to experiment with new sounds the band started experimenting in 2001 while the member still performed in another band named Operation. Rickie Mazzotta (drums), Greg Jehanian (bass guitar, vocals), and Brandon Beaver (guitar, vocals) would become the other core members joining over the band's lifetime. The band’s first EP I Never Said That I Was Brave was released later that year. Earning a record deal with Tooth & Nail Records the band started gaining notoriety for their unique genre-defining style.
A mix of spoken word, indie rock, post-hardcore, emo and so much more MeWIthoutYou tickets are special for the band’s innovative style. The Weiss brothers are of Jewish descent and use their songs to expand into Jewish, Christian, and Muslim imagery. Despite their religious themes, MeWithoutYou is rock at its core with Aaron Weiss stating he doesn’t believe they are a Christian band despite labels. The brothers cleverly weave themes into their songs without moving away from their powerful sound. Moving through a catalog of different instruments earlier works feature high pace guitar riffs while older projects are liable to contain violin and harp.
