Angel started her career at the young age of 15, when she learned to play the guitar and watched her famous relative, Otis Rush jam out with legends like Muddy Waters for inspiration.
The passion for music started young in Angel's childhood. She began her first band while in high school, developing her skills which were heavily influenced by iconic guitarists like Prince, Jimi Hendrix and Slash to name just three. Angel plays all over the Chicago area including at the Chicago Blues Festival, Rosa's Lounge and Buddy Guy's Legends. She has even graced the same stage as Mary J. Blige, Bonnie Raitt and even her hero Carlos Santana.
