After signing with the London-based indie label Too Pure, the band exploded in popularity in the scene internationally following the release of their 2002 sophomore album Mclusky Do Dallas. The critically acclaimed album featured some of the band's biggest hits including “To Hell With Good Intentions” and has years later continued to be praised for its dynamics and impressive songwriting, even landing in the top 100 of both NME and Pitchfork’s lists of the best albums of the 2000s. In 2004, the rock outfit released their third album, The Difference Between Me and You Is That I’m Not on Fire, before calling it quits in 2005. The band reunited in 2014 and has since continued to appear live in concerts around the world.
