Born in 1994 in Bradenton, Walden began learning to play piano at six years old. He gave a number of recitals at local churches before learning to play guitar in high school, after which he began writing his first songs.
Following encouragement from musician Billy Rice, Walden joined the Del Couch Music Education Foundation at Palmetto’s Manatee School for the Arts in 2010. After winning the Strawberry Jam talent contest later that year, he was invited to perform alongside Caroline Kole at the Strawberry Festival. He went on to play a number of similar events like the Bradenton Riverwalk Regatta and the Lakewood Ranch WinterFest.
In 2015 Walden released his debut single “Flipped the Script,” which became a top fifty hit on iTunes’ Singer-Songwriter chart. His successes continued with the release of his EP Life later that year, which reached the number seven spot on iTunes’ Singer-Songwriter Top Albums chart.
