The band was founded by vocalist Brett Hoffmann, guitarists Phil Fasciana and Jeff Juskiewicz, bassist Jason Blachowicz and rounding out the crew on drums was Mark Simpson. They signed with Roadrunner Records at the dawn of the '90s featuring this lineup that would go on to create some heavy metal history.
Their debut album was a landmark for the death metal underground trying to expand on the extensive work of Slayer. Their sophomore album, Retribution, came just a year later with much praise from fans and critics alike. Since then, they have been creating music for over three decades now and have no plans of slowing down. With top hits like "Premature Burial" and "Soul Razer," these guys are still at the top of their game.
