MainLine has taken notes from their influences such as New Orleans legends Trombone Shorty & Orleans Ave and Souline to combine a familiar brass band sound with hip hop overtones and funky guitars and organs.
Since 2010, the group has performed countless gigs to perfect their energetic live show. They’ve shared the stage with megastars like 50 Cent and performed at festivals alongside Katy Perry, Neil Young and Jack White among a massive list of others. Their impressive festival history includes sets at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival and Voodoo Music & Arts Experience. Their debut album, MainLine Brass Band, earned them critical acclaim and a nomination for Best Brass Band from Offbeat Magazine.
