On February 4, 2015, Kevin Kerr would be tabbed as the new director of hockey operations and head coach, as the Mayhem would quickly make waves in the SPHL. By just their second season, Kerr and the team would emerge as regular-season champions with a 37-13 record, advancing all the way to the playoff championship where they would sweep the Peoria Rivermen 2–0 to clinch the President's Cup. A team that is always prepared to put it all on the line, join in on all the action as the Mayhem start their journey for another championship title.
