In 2009, Love of Lesbian received their breakthrough with the album 1999, which reached 33rd on the charts in Spain. They then released La Noche Eterna, which is considered a concept double album where the themes of the album revolve around living the nightlife and its ensuing repercussions. In 2012, their album Los Días No Vividos went all the way to number one. El Poeta Halley (2016), El gran truco final (2018) and V.E.H.N. (2021) reached the top of the charts as well.
