Within just a few years he had made a series of international tours in China and Japan.

His connections have seen him collaborate with several world-class conductors, most notably Thomas Ades, Paavo Jarvi and Thierry Fischer. Lortie has performed as a featured soloist with dozens of leading orchestras in cities as varied as Hong Kong, Prague and Amsterdam.
Lorite is both the founder and director of Lake Como’s LacMus International Festival and has been widely praised for his recordings of Frederic Chopin and Camille Saint-Saens.
