Although the singer-songwriter Livingston Taylor has inevitably lived in the shadow of his famous brother James he has enjoyed a successful career as a solo performer with a career spanning 50 years, his three most notable hits being the chart singles 'I Will Be in Love With You', 'First Time Love' and 'I'll Come Running'. During his career, he has shared the stage with many notable performers including Jethro Tull, Linda Ronstadt and Jimmy Buffett.

Alongside his work as a performer, Taylor has pursued a successful career as an academic and as well as being the artist in residence at Harvard from 2000 through to 2006, has also had a long term association with Berklee College of Music where he is a professor.
