Lastlings are an electronic pop band made of the sibling duo of Amy and Josh Dowdle. Hailing from Gold Coast, Queensland, they first began producing music together around 2015. Josh was in school for biomedical science while Amy was still making her way through high school when they started finding traction. In 2016 the duo released their debut EP entitled Unreality.
Since their first release audiences have been drawn to Lastlings tickets with their unique sound. Their approach to electronic music has helped them find work with artists like Rüfüs Du Sol who they toured Australia with. The Lastlings have played many huge concerts and festivals as well with appearances at Splendour in the Grass, Spilt Milk and Coachella. In 2017 Lastlings released their second EP entitled Verses with songs like “You” and “Urges”. Lastlings are perhaps best known for their 2018 single “Deja Vu.” Though in 2021 they won a Queensland Music Award for their video for the song “Out of Touch.”
