The group’s debut EP, Acronyms, was released in late 2014 and generated a lot of interest online. In 2015, LANY took to the road supporting American tours like Twin Shadow, Tove Styrke and X Ambassadors.
The group embarked on its first tour, The Make Out Tour, after the successful release of their third EP and played a series of festivals including Bonnaroo and Firefly. LANY’s self-titled debut album followed in 2017 and the group’s first top 10 album, Mama’s Boy was released in 2020. It reached No. 7 on the US Billboard 200 and No. 2 on the US Top Alternative Albums chart propelled by singles like “Good Guys,” “You!,” and “Cowboy in LA.”
