She recorded and performed throughout the ’70s and ’80s and struck gold in 1983 when she recorded the theme song for the James Bond film, Never Say Never Again.
She continued to record several Latin pop albums with that momentum, one being the 1985 Grammy award-winning Es Facil Amar. In 1998 she returned to the spotlight after battling the Epstein-Barr virus and being forced to take a break. In 2007, Hall formed a group with her partner Herb Alpert. They continue to tour together to this day. She garnered yet another Grammy award in 2013 for her production work on Alpert’s album Steppin’ Out.
