As with almost all rodeos, the men are featured in the six events of Bareback Riding, Saddle Bronc Riding, Steer Wrestling, Tie-Down Roping, Team Roping and Bull Riding. Most of the oohs and aahs are reserved for the bull riding competition as that is usually the crowd favorite, due to the difficulty and danger of trying to stay atop a bucking bull.
