They have released a number of EPs since with one album peaking at No. 5 on the Billboard Heatseekers Albums chart. Knuckle Puck signed with Rise Records and released Copacetic through them in July 2015 which has been met positively by critics. Their name was inspired by a t-shirt from the band Stick to Your Guns t-shirt that read "Knuckle Puck Crew.”

Joe Taylor, Kevin Maida and John Siorek were founding members of the band, establish its punk rock and emo sound. Since then, the group has added members and co-headlined tours including 2013's prestigious Man Overboard Tour alongside Transit and Forever Came Calling to name just two. Knuckle Puck was nominated as the Best Underground Band in 2015 by the Alternative Press Music Awards. They were also nominated for Album of the Year and Best Breakthrough Band in 2016.
