Richey found the most success, however, through her 2013 album Thorn in My Heart, which charted on the Top Country Albums, Top Heatseekers and US Folk lists. The artist’s single “Come Around” was a top twenty hit on the Adult Alternative Airplay chart. A gifted songwriter, Richey’s compositions have been recorded by the likes of Brooks & Dunn, Radney Foster and Trisha Yearwood.
