He graduated high school in 1972, where he was voted “wittiest” of the class. He began his adult career in a blues band. He played guitar and got his stage name when a fan yelled “Killer, Beaz” after his guitar solo. His career in stand-up comedy began when a bar owner decided to add a comedian to the entertainment line-up. Because of a lack of opportunity in his hometown, he moved to Nashville. He recorded a song, “Save Up” where he was backed by Lynyrd Skynyrd for the 1996 album entitled NASCAR: Hotter Than Asphalt. In 2013, he released his first major-label comedy album, called “Don’t Ever Touch Anybody You Don’t Know”, on Jack Records, an imprint of Warner Bros. Records. He has been in five seasons of “Moonshiners” and entertains audiences from coast to coast with stand-up shows.
