Siegel grew up in Chicago, studying under Rudolf Ganz before attending Juilliard, where he was under the tutelage of Lhevinne and went on to study under Ilona Kabos in London as a Fullbright Scholar. He was a soloist around the world, accompanied by The Berlin Philharmonic, his hometown Chicago Symphony Orchestra and the Bayerischer Rundfunk in Munich and other world-class ensembles.
