Members of the band included Brandon Pinckard, who went by the name Kansas and Oklahoma transplants Nick Jay and Jordan Cain.
The band's first record, Hot Trottin’, was produced independently. The band played everywhere it could locally before beginning to travel, booking shows in Austin, Houston and elsewhere. The band was joined by vocalist Emotion Brown in May of 2007. The band began to be noticed in 2008 when it functioned as supporting acts for national bands such as Leon Russell, Deep Purple, The Black Crowes and others. That same year, the band the Dallas Observer named the band “Best Blues Act.”
