He is the son of Jorge Hernández Villegas and Manuela Ramírez Lima. He attended Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico, where he graduated in 1973 as a dental surgeon and also studied English and tap dancing.
Falcon’s outlandish and fanciful expressions coupled with his distinctive and comical gesticulating made him a distinctive personality. Coupled with his accurate impressions and frequent use of double entendre, he quickly made a name for himself in the 1970s as a comedian, starting out in bars performing impressions, monologues and parodies.
Jo Jo Jorge’s star began to rise when he started to perform on such variety shows as “Alegrias de Meliodia” and “En Vivo”. He also has appeared on the iconic “Sabado Gigante” and also frequently performed on “En Vivo” as well as the now-defunct “Siempre en Domingo” or Always on Sunday, where he would share the stage with many international stars at the time. He appeared with Sammy Davis on Davis’ international show.
