Listen to real Canadian Blues with Jack Semple tickets. Juno Award-winning Blues guitarist, singer and songwriter Jack Semple grew up in Saskatchewan on a farm north of the town of Regina. He was the lead guitarist of the Lincolns before launching a solo career, releasing ten albums and touring throughout the United States and Canada.
As a youth, after learning guitar, Sample earned extra money by giving guitar lessons. After performing with several Regina-based bands Semple moved to Toledo and became the lead guitarist for the funk and R&B band the Lincolns in the late 1980s for two years before returning to Regina to work on a solo career.

He also won a Juno Award for best root rocks recording and his work was also featured on the Canadian Broadcasting Company’s compilation Saturday Night Blues. In 1992, he won the all-Canada MuchMusic “Guitar Wars” contest. In 1994, he released the album Sneakin’ Suspicion. He also was featured in the television movie Guitarman in 1984.
In 2006, Semple was again featured by CBC on a compilation called Saturday Night Blues: 20 Years. More studio albums have followed, along with a second live album in 2017, Live at Mount Baker Rhythm and Blues Festival.
