The members include Luke Shively, Kyle Severn, Chuck Sherwood and John McEntee. 

Incantation was founded in 1989 and spent a number of years refining its signature sound that centers around occult themes, slow instrumentation and moody vocals. In the mid-90s they developed a significant cult following, and their work proved a formative influence on later acts like Portal, Grave Miasma and Dead Congregation. Early albums such as Mortal Throne of Nazarene and Onward to Golgotha pushed the boundaries of the genre, cementing their place as one of the pioneering groups in the underground metal scene. 

Despite a slew of lineup changes beginning in the late 90s, Incantation continues to tour and record today. They have maintained a dedicated fanbase over the course of a decades-long career.
