I Am The Avalanche garnered a devoted following in and around New York City before the band released their eponymous debut album in 2005. 

I Am The Avalanche was a runaway success, raising significant media buzz and greatly increasing the band’s exposure. They were soon playing prominent events like the Vans’ Warped Tour, the Bamboozle Festival and the Soundwave Festival. I Am The Avalanche released their sophomore album This Will Be the Death of Us in 2009, then toured alongside high-profile acts like Paramore, The Fully Down and The Forecast.
