With a distinctive jazz lean, Huntertones is a multitalented group of instrumentalists with a horn-driven sound. Rising out of Columbus, Ohio, the seven-piece unit of Huntertones first came together around 2010. The lineup of the group consists of Dan White (saxophone), Jon Lampley (trumpet, sousaphone), Chris Ott (trombone, beatbox), Adam DeAscentis (bass), Josh Hill (guitar) and Justin Stanton (keys, trumpet). A talented roster that combines to create delectable grooves that have earned them the praise of artists like Jon Batiste.
Every show leaves the arena in full spirits with the smooth, wild and improvisational tunes you will hear with Huntertones tickets. The Huntertones moved their base from Columbus to Brooklyn, New York, in 2014 as they started to find global appeal. In 2015, they released their first eponymously titled full-length album. They followed it up with their sophomore release Live before dropping Passport in 2017 before going on tour. After touring South America, Europe and Africa, Huntertones returned home to work on their next album Time To Play released in 2021. With songs like “Escape Plan” and “Take Me Home” along with features from Lionel Loueke and Louis Cato, Huntertones continues to surprise with each release.
