Enjoy the jumping sounds of folk-rock with Horse Feathers tickets. Horse Feathers is a neofolk band from Oregon made up of members Robby Cosenza, J. Tom Hnatow, Nathan Crockett and Justin Ringle. The band was founded in 2004 by singer-songwriter Ringle after leaving previous rock bands to take a turn toward acoustic music. His performances at open mics in and around Portland attracted the attention of the other members, who joined Ringle to record Horse Feathers’ debut album Words Are Dead in 2006.

Horse Feathers quickly developed a reputation for their eclectic yet controlled mix of instruments from violin to cello to mandolin. Since 2009 their lineup has featured a rotating cast of varied instrumentalists. Horse Feathers began touring extensively in the late 2000s and early 2010s in support of their sophomore album House With No Home. The band rose to national attention, however, through the release of Cynic’s New Year in 2012, their first charting success. Horse Feathers has been featured regularly on NPR in particular and has grown a dedicated fan base for their rich yet authentic folk sound.
