This band was created by Kat Leon and Nicholas Perez, both formerly of the band Sad Robot.  Leon wanted to start Holy Wars as an outlet for the tragic and sudden passing of her parents. Perez is a guitarist and producer who brings his musical and technical skills to the band. He is also a member of The Beta Machines, Kitten, and after playing on the I Disagree Tour with Poppy, became an official member of that band as well. Leon provides the emotional vocals and lyrics, filled with heartbreak, gloom, and dark honesty. The band’s first EP Mother Father catapulted them already to impressive success.

Three of Holy Wars singles have been featured commercially. “Welcome to My Hell” was the official song of WWE’s Hell in a Cell 2020 pay-per-view. “Legends” was used by Amazon Prime in a series of promos and “Little Godz” featured on the CW’s Legacies. And all before the release of their first album. They also released the singles “1% Milk,” “Get Mine,” and “TV Dinner.” Audiences can expect broody and electric heavy dark pop, with some thrashing guitars and explosive emotional lyrics, all with Holy Wars tickets.
