Holiday Express is a benefit concert at Red Bank’s Count Basie Theatre, which takes place every year and features a slew of family-friendly Christmas music performed by an ensemble of vocalists and musicians. Song and dance numbers range from standard to gospel to rock and roll holiday hits.

Proceeds from the Holiday Express event benefit over 25,000 people in need in and around Philadelphia, New York and New Jersey. Aside from their yearly charity event, the Holiday Express group brings music, food and packages to underprivileged families, including veterans, houseless persons and people dealing with mental illness. The ensemble is made up of between 50 and 100 premier singers and musicians from the Jersey Shore area, all of whom work the event on a volunteer basis.

Feel the spirit of giving with Holiday Express tickets. The founder and frontman for the Holiday Express ensemble is Tim McLoone, who formed the group in 1993. The ensemble often performs alongside New Jersey’s Matheny Choir to sing holiday favorites like “Jingle Bells,” “Let It Snow” and “All I Want For Christmas Is You.” Over 1,000 non-performing volunteers help put on their benefit concerts.
