Together their single Blind was named Best Song of 2008 by Pitchfork Media, and debut album Hercules And Love Affair (2008) won great critical acclaim for its lush, melancholic attempts to merge classic disco strut with electro-pop club anthems. Follow-up Blue Songs (2011) featured a guest appearance from Bloc Party's Kele Okereke and again crafted elegant, dance-floor pop filled with heartbreak, defiance and camp, theatrical glamour.
