By 1978, it had achieved gold status and remained their most successful album with popular songs like “Never Been Any Reason” and “Love Me Tonight.” Head East released three more albums and played the soundtrack to the movie J-Men Forever in 1979. However, 1980 brought big changes to the band as members left to go in a different direction. New musicians took their place, and Head East continued on, eventually making it to the Iowa Rock ‘n Roll Music Association’s Hall of Fame in 2011.
