Rising out of Upstate New York, Duffy’s distinctive sound attracted other artists to help her make beautiful tracks. Duffy started making music as a session guitarist before moving out to Los Angeles to start Hand Habits.

In 2017, Hand Habits released their debut album under Woodsist Records entitled Wildly Idle (Humble Before The Void). Meg has toured or collaborated with a large collection of artists and bands including Perfume Genius, Mega Bog and the Kevin Morby Band. Hand Habits creates dreamy music with intense depth hidden beneath the soft vocals of Meg Duffy.
