Hall formed the outlaw country band Gregg Hall and the Wrecking Ball in 2013, with whom he released the albums This, That and The Land, The Mrs. Hippy Sessions and True Story. The artist has earned praise for his facility in a slew of guitar styles including slide guitar and finger picking. His lyrics often center around themes of love, loss and redemption.
