The team became part of the league as an expansion team in 2007, as their former name is the Green Bay Bullfrogs. In their first season in the league, the team was the first expansion team in 14 years to make the playoffs in their first season. After winning game one of the playoffs against the Eau Claire Express, the team would lose games two and three, bringing a season to a close.
