Gooch and The Motion were formed in 2016 by a group of talented musicians from the Philadelphia and New Jersey area. They've now grown into an all-star six-piece band that can connect with any audience ranging from festival-goers to an intimate lounge. So far they have performed alongside some amazing artists, such as The Allman Brothers, Lynyrd Skynyrd and the Zac Brown Band. The band continues to tour all across the United States with stops at the City Winery in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

The band released their debut album, Comin' Home, shortly after grouping in 2016, where it saw such hits as "Shake Em On Down," "Jersey Mudd" and "Devil Don't." The band finally released their much-awaited second studio album, Outside the Window, in 2020. It showcases lead singer, Ryan "Gooch" Nelson's growth in the depths of his lyrics and the musical melodies that came together effortlessly.
