In no time he would land gigs to perform at some of the most renowned venues in Santiago and Viña del Mar, where slowly but surely Gian Marco tickets would become high in demand.
By 1990, Gian made his official debut with the independently released album Gian Marco. Multiple albums would follow throughout the rest of the ‘90s, from 1992’s Personal to 1997’s Al Quinto Día, before he decided to move to Miami in hopes of expanding his career. The gamble would pay off, as his subsequent albums, A Tiempo and Resucitar, would end up being his most successful releases to date, earning him three Latin Grammy nominations in 2003, along with a Latin Grammy Award in 2005 for Best Singer/Songwriter Album.
