Jazz guitarist Fareed Haque, who plays guitar for the band, was a co-founder, along with Kai Eckhardt. Haque was born in Chicago, Ill., but is Pakistani on his mother’s side. He studied jazz guitar at Texas State University for a year before studying classical guitar at Northwestern University. He has been part of the jazz fusion groups Chevere, which combined jazz and Latin music, the Zawinul Syndicate, and another Indian jazz fusion group, Summit.

Other members of the band include multi-instrumentalist Sean Rockman, who plays drums for the band, and keyboardist Eric Levy.
