From Autumn to Ashes (FATA) formed in 2000 with members Francis Mark (drums, vocals), Steve Salvio (guitar), and Benjamin Perry (vocals). They recorded their first EP, Sin, Sorrow and Sadness, that same year. The following year saw the release of their first album, Too Bad You’re Beautiful, that Punk News described to “...put you to sleep like a baby’s lullaby, then smash you awake with the most gut wrenching, floor pounding hardcore…”
By 2003 the band had signed to the acclaimed Vagrant Records with which they would release their next two EPs and the following albums: The Fiction We Live in 2003, Abandon Your Friends in 2005, Holding a Wolf by the Ears in 2007 and their 2008 live album Live at Looney Tunes.
