The original four members of the band Finch included Nate Barcalow, Alex Linares, Derek Doherty and Alex Pappas. After producing music together for a couple of years, the band signed with Drive-Thru Records and released an EP, Falling into Place, in 2001. Their popularity quickly rose in the alternative rock world, and in 2002, Finch released their first full album, entitled What It Is to Burn. The success and sales of this first album led to a live tour in the United Kingdom and the United States. Subsequent albums followed in 2005 and 2014, and alternative fans will enjoy hearing this band perform live on stage again.
