Members have included Ken Andrews, a singer, songwriter, guitarist and keyboardist, Greg Charles Edwards, a vocalist, guitarist, bassist, pianist and drummer, Kellii Scott, Robert Gauss and Troy Van Leeuwen. Their debut full-length studio album Comfort was released in 1992, followed by Magnified in 1994 and then Fantastic Planet in 1996. After Failure reconnected, they recorded LPs The Heart Is a Monster in 2015, In the Future Your Body Will Be the Furthest Thing from Your Mind in 2018 and Wild Type Droid in 2021.
The band has also recorded and released multiple EPs, singles and music videos. The group’s debut single was “Count My Eyes” off of the Comfort album. Failure has toured all across the United States at venues such as the Ace of Spades in Sacramento, California, the Crystal Ballroom in Portland, Ore., the House of Blues in Chicago, Ill., as well as performing at music festivals including the Monster Energy Aftershock Music Festival in Antelope, Calif.
