Exmortus was founded in 2002 in Whittier. They spent a number of years honing their act before releasing their debut album In Hatred’s Flame in 2008. The band’s innovative blend of thrash metal, death metal and neoclassical music quickly established the group as leading artists in Los Angeles’ burgeoning thrash revival.
Exmortus have since toured with high-profile heavy metal acts like Marty Friedman and Children of Bodom. They made a celebrated appearance at the inaugural Ozzfest meets Knotfest in San Bernardino, and are a staple of Sirius XM’s Liquid Metal program.
