Eric Lindell, a singer-songwriter whose style borrows from 1970’s soul, R&B and blues-rock influences, has signed with Alligator Records and has toured all over the world for over a decade.

He got his start playing bars and clubs in Northern California, but it was a 1999 move to New Orleans that kick-started Lindell’s career. His time in Louisiana brought ever-increasing successes. He recorded with notable musicians like Harold Ray Brown (of the band War) and members of Galactic, alongside solo work with various smaller labels. Through exposure on the New Orleans club scene and at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, Lindell was picked up by Alligator Records. With Alligator and other indie record companies, he released many albums over the following decades – his work is featured everywhere from TV Shows like Boston Legal, True Blood and Friday Night Lights, to network television performances on Late Night with Conan O’Brien. In 2007, Lindell’s initial release from Alligator, Change in the Weather, was even nominated for the Jam Album of the Year at the 7^th annual Independent Music Awards.
