Originally, Elephante studied economics at Harvard University and spent time working in the corporate world. In 2011, he decided to follow his passions and immerse himself in the electronic music industry. His stage name Elephante is meant to reference “the elephant in the room” which is how he felt spending time working and not following his dreams. Some of his biggest musical influences are iconic DJ Skrillex and RL Grime.
Elephante released his first singles “Temporary Love” and “I Want You” in 2015 which were instant hits. The next year, he released his EP I Am the Elephante, which is filled with irresistibly catchy EDM songs and remixes. His single “Age of Innocence” was a big success, jumping to number 18 on the Billboard Dance/Club chart. His 2018 album Glass Mansion hit number 1 on the iTunes U.S Dance chart and featured collaborations with several different artists like Nevve and Matluck. Calvin Harris and Zedd are just some of the artists whose songs he has remixed.
